While doing the overhaul of my Soarer I took my right hand side engine mount out today, I was not sure what I state it would be in, but thought it would be on the better side since there has not been much engine rock.
Whole thing is in once piece still, but looking at it closely you can see the plate starting to separate from the rest of it. Will do the left side some time next week.
Quite chuffed with the condition it was in as its another thing to support my car only doing 100,000k's - nothing mechanical has pointed to them being false, little things like this help to reinforce that they are genuine.

About an egg cup full ...thin and red! .mine were like yours looked ok, but so much smoother drive with new ones. maybe change the g/box mount as well ? easy to do (half hour)

Yeah Dave, I'm also going to do that one, just working on the engine bay stuff at the moment.
For sure, I suppose the rubber hardens up over the years and looses its soft, vibration dampening qualities, I've noticed vibrations in mine so they are knackered.
Will be impressive to drive my Soarer once it's running again, headers, mounts and s/r bushes to name the key things which are noticeable.
