hi,

have a problem with my 1991 V8. soarer idles well and revs well but once i slip it into drive she stalls. same for reverse but into neutral its fine can rev and idle no probs.

it happen one afternoon doing aprox 60km the car just died. i have had a flat battery in it for a while and since i only drive it aprox once every 2 to 3 weeks i have been jump starting it. the local mechanic says it may have something to do with the computer?
also at the time of stalling a japanese error comes up briefly and its not in my code book.

has anyone got any idea?
i have checked transmission fuild and is ok.
