Nice stuff, I'd certainly love to have the rush headers fitted, but funds didn't allow & i was being driven crazy with the noise. Hope it fixes your problem!
by the way, Sean are you getting your headers ceramic coated, or will you have a shield made up? it gets quite expensive when you add it all up, 550 for the headers, say 460 for ceramic coating, 360 for two high flow cats, then the rest of the exhaust system, say 550..

Yeah, initially I thought Rush headers came ceramic coated, but after reading up on it i've realised they don't. I read somewhere about someone using exhaust wrap so i'm gonna inquire about both. I'm gonna spend the extra hundred and go for the larger Rush headers, so i'm gonna get a few quotes and see if I can get it all done for 2k or under. Now that i've geared myself up about the exhaust, I haven't actually heard the noise for a few days now... But i'm gonna do it anyway.

Ok, Croydon Exhaust fix don't do full exhaust systems for V8 Soarers anymore. Ross said it's too big of a job, and they hate doing it. He suggested I just do a cat back system for $550 and get much better bang for buck. Sports and Luxury cars don't do them either, they recommended Croydon Exhaust fix. So I rang a few other places who say that considering it may take a couple of days, for a full system without getting the headers ceramic coated, I'd be looking at at least $2,500.
So then I rang my girlfriends step dad at Fast Fit in Frankston. He said it's gonna be a real plick of a job, and without a lot of engine work to match (cams, blower etc) there's really no point getting headers. But if I did want them done anyway it would cost me the price of all the parts, plus $66 an hour for every hour it took. He suggested just buying another Soarer with headers already fitted.
So all up it's gonna be at least 2.5k, so I don't know what to do. Can anyone recommend anywhere else in Victoria that would tackle it for cheaper? I really can't justify spending nearly 3k on the exhaust alone, considering I could just about buy another V8 Soarer for around the same price as a spares car.

Had my Rush headers fitted, with 2 new cats and intergrated into the last half of the original system (since modified, but still use standard first mufflers) for $900 at Carline Mufflers in Mildura.
