another day ANOTHER PROBLEM!
ok, on the weekend i did my EMV -to- TT CC unit conversion, the ONLY thing i did to the car was remove the CC ECU from under the dash, and solder up a new loom to the TT version of the Climate control..
EVER SINCE this weekend, today on the way to work.. i stop at traffic lights and my revs jump up to like 1.2... 1.5K and drop suddnely to 400/500, then spike back up for a few seconds.. and the car is forcing itself to GO!
the engine is MUCH noisier.. SOUNDS like i have the aircon constantly running but that is all turned off!!
sounds like the fan behind the radiator is constantly spinning at max rpm lol..
its just noiser and the car was performing SO STRANGE this morning..
any help would be IDEAL! anything think its got to do with the whole loom conversion i did over the weekend ?

OK heres an update.
went and started the car before and i could here a ....TICK..TICk.. every 5 seconds.. so i had a look..
and where the Aircon compressor is i think, in the bottom RIGHT corner of the engine on the battery side..
the belt obviously go's around the PULLEY attached to it yes ?
and that pully is getting STUCK when the belt spins.. the PULLEY itself spins with the belt but the front face where the bolt go's in..that gets JAMMED for a few seconds then magicaly free's itself up
WHAT could be the cause.. PLEASE dont tell me my aircon compressor is going or its turning ON and OFF..because of that loom i changed around .. ?

The reason the part of the aircon does not spin is because the aircon compressor has a clutch to engage the compressor with the pulley and when it is not spinning AKA Jammed it just means the aircon is not turned on and working.
The reason it doesn't start as soon as you start the engine is there is a built in delay for the compressor to activate.
As for your problem I don't really know but it sounds like the aircon is turning on and off every 5 seconds.

Yes michael you infact are right, SILLY me,
i went home lastnite and asked dad about it and he said the EXACT same thing.. it works on a clutch system
so my mistake
what i will do now during my lunch break at work is grab a screw driver.. head to car and unplug the loom from the orange SADDLE under the dash, THIS way i eliminate my 'backyard' wiring that i did on the climate control.. so in effect the car will run for the rest of today ASIF it has no climate control ECU and the cables will just be unplugged
