Hi everyone,

Newbie to the site as well as soarers.
Bought a V8 91 soarer 2 weeks ago.
Would like to know where to service it in the Adelaide area.
Also, the stacker doesn't play burnt cd's and I think I might have to do the conversion to make the tv work.
Could anyone tell me whom to go to for all of this?

Cheers!

Be sure to post some photos of your v8.
Steve from manta is the mechanic I'd recommend

Did some major work on mine, came in under budget and finished ahead of schedule. Great work.

Cheers for that! Really appreciate it. Will get some pics up ASAP. Will give Steve a call tomorrow and see if he can fit the beast in.

Like I said never had a soarer before and think I'm in love!!!

For emv and possibly stacker problems,
Talk to Damian at
frozenpod@hotmail.com
There is an emv repair place in Adelaide but they do not do TV conversions and its not cheap $500+. If you really need a TV in your car try Tandy or Dick Smiths 12v probably about $100.

Don't really need a tv in car, thought it might be cool to just get everything working - that's all. But at that price tag might reconsider.
Thanks for the info, will mail damian and see how it goes. Cheers for your help!

One other thing, the coolant error keeps coming on for just a few seconds after starting her up and then disappears - do I need to do anything? If the coolant needs to be changed - is there a particular one I should be looking for?

Toyota Red Coolant. If you're currently using the green coolant though, DO NOT mix them. First though, check your float sensor in the radiator overflow bottle, see if it's got any cracks in it or if it's sticking.
