Howdy yall,
Went down to Repco before and tried to get an air filter for the V8 .. dude just looked at me and said "how do you spell soarer?" .. needless to say he was unsucessful in locating a filter in repco's stock list.
1) Is there any air filter that will fit the V8, some generic device will do fine.
2) Where to buy OEM?
3) Pod filters: Is there anywhere/one that can supply a flange and pod filter to bolt onto the V8 air?

oh true, well that is fair enough. I think that law is different in qld anyways. i heard that pod filters are actually illegal ? And yea well you might have to compare them ? or find one on the internet perhaps.

I know nothing of rice mate only read a little bit of legislation which is often open to interpretation - vicraods are as useless as tits on a bull. Frankly if you ever get done for a dodgy filter you'll be asked to swap n prove

I would buy the OEM air filter worth the $$ then an aftermarket one.
As for oil filters go with oem its a little pricey but worth it then some of the aftermarket ones. I am running an amsoil oil filter cannot remember what i paid for it tho but i got oil and oil flush at the same time.

Stock Air filter is a little expensive but seems the best compared to a lot of other brands. I think the HKS Panel filter is good value for money too and washable! which is great
Look around on Supra forums for the POD filters though, lot of info there.

$60/20,000km... $0.003 per KM - hardly expensive. The OEM filter is made by Denso and very high quality, you won't get better filtration out of any pod, though you might get slightly better airflow.

Howdy I put on a pod on the weekend. No issues except finding a fitting flange.
I have to custom up one (Cut, drill, weld)
End result
Anyway, I need to either remake or buy a new flange - the ones at supercheap/repco don't fit and are really thin. I am thinking of making up some nice laser cut ones. Would anyone be interested in purchasing some if I do? (Could probably make up the TT easy enough)
