Hi, Can someone please suggest a mechanic in Sydney, my P/S pump is leaking and need rebuild, if you have done before please also advise the cost. Thanks

am not from sydney i live in the caribbean and i had that problem before twice i rebuild my pump started to leak again got a genuine toyota rebuild kit after two months the leaks were back,with all the 1uz pumps that have seen they have all burnt the the bearing inside. I've giving up on rebuilding the pumps whats i have done is bought a set of pumps from

they work real good once installation was done good & all air is out of system, steering is great.

It is always recommended to replace the bearing when you fit the seal kit. Had mine done 7 years ago, still going just fine.

yeah i lent that the hard way. at the time my bearing was really looking good,well you live & you learn
