The kind of leads on from my earlier thread.

See below my set up.

I was unable to find a suiatable flange at any of the major auto places. So I built one, i will be making a better version soon once I speak to my laser cutter

I notice a lot of people who put on a pod are bypassing what I think is the O2 sensor (tell me if thats not what it is please?)

Q1) Is it the O2 sensor?
Q2) Are there a good quality flange avaiable?
Q3) I am looking into building up some flanges with GOOD strong metal 3-4mm would anyone be interested?

That's the air flow meter (AFM). The O2 sensors are in the exhaust manifold.

The engine will not run right without the AFM, however others have bypassed it with the use of a piggy back ECU and new engine maps.

I've read through a lot of the tests thats been run against some pods and stock - I'l trialing to POD for the moment. I'm actually quite happy with the improvements. I am thinking of setting up a trumpet tube directly to air filter which modern PODS cater for.

So it that isn;t the O2 sensor.. what is it?

Where to go to get a V8 Flange for air fliter - all the places i went too only had a 2.5
