Hi all, recently got my soarer running, after a dash swap, gearbox and new motor. Now I am having issues with it telling me the battery is not charging, yet I threw a DC tong meter over the cable and my battery definitely is charging.
Anyone got any ideas how to fix this issue, i know its minor, but the writing on the dash is very persistent, and sometimes has an annoying "bing" tone accompaniment.

Hi Rob,
I think some people have mentioned to you about bringing up old threads, 5 years not bad !! jeez you must do some trawling !!!
I suppose there is some interest to some degree for others ?? but as no one else has asked in 5 years it shows there is not a lot of concern, maybe send them a PM if you want to know ?? and I'm sure in most cases they might not even remember !!

Hi guys,
You see, the whole point to a forum is to keep things relevant.
As I was interested in THIS particular thread, I wished to know what the end result was - and if anyone from the original thread saw this post, they could inform me.
You see, I had the same issues - Everything is relevant. I have spent quite some time on this forum researching things - as well as others. I decided to be social however.
"What keeps a forum alive? - posting."
It seems you can't win half of the time on a forum. You get told off if you 'necro' threads - and you get told off if you post a new thread.
If people simply read the already available material on the forums, the forums would die very quickly from lack of activity - If it even had posts to begin with... Also, many bad diags would be had.
This is why you require specific information - and why you, or in this case - i - asked what the end result was.
Obviously, when someone posts something - they require answers or similar. So, in the spirit of keeping social, in the know - and so on - I will continue posting where I feel a post is required.
You see, if you can't post on old threads - they should be either removed, or simply locked. That would stop people from informing other people that they should stop posting on old threads - for no other reason than the fact that they've seen someone else on another forum tell another dude to not post on old threads
Soooo....
Original thread posters, if still here, and not senile - What was the end result with the charging issue?
