Actually, if it is very late '95 it may be after they changed the plugs again. I am not sure whether that meant they changed them back to the way they were. It is the '94-95 which is definitely unusual. I know because I got my hands on a MiNES ECU and found it would not fit.

Ok guy's and gal's mine has started doing the same thing. I was with my mate on Friday night cruising through town and sure enough bing on comes the low oil pressure warning. It was brought to my attention by my mate who is a mechanic (after stopping and helping some people who had a 120Y with the key broken off in the ignition barrel and hot wiring it to get them home) that was with me said it was only happening when I was on a hill. Now thinking about it he is'nt wrong as it has come on when i was going around a 55Kmh corner at 90Kmh it came on and when sitting at some lights facing down hill slightly. This makes me think, where is the sensor?

I have heaps of oil in it as the dip stick is covered nearly to the top of the fat bit.

It has come on when facing up hill, down hill and going around a left hand corner so far. That's why I ask where the sensor is?

What could be my problem here as I am going to the track soon and if I cant do those sort's of speeds around corners I will be some what annoyed...

i had a problem like this a while back, the low oil warning message is very very similar to the low brake fluid level message, when i would accelerate at a good rate or brake the chime would go off and the message came up.

I thought this was oil level but later noticed my mistake and it was the brake fluid level haha.

Brake fluid level was fine, so i pulled the sensor in the reservoir out, cleaned and reasembled it and put it back in and no more problem :-)

Bit off Topic but worth a mention regarding your post Scott.

Another thing about the Brake light. This is the handbrake light I presume. This can also come up when the Accumulator is low on Gas. happens in my Celsior when accelerating hard then braking, and once the handbrake light (low fluid) comes on, the Transmission refuses to kick down, ALSO overdrive refuses to stay on, turns on immediately after its turned on. I believe this is some kind of failsafe as to not let the transmission kick down, not let you use overdrive or some sort of limp mode to keep you safe when you have presumably low brake fluid or low gas in the canister.

Scott I do know you have a Soarer TT not sure if that uses nitrogen for the braking system, but could any of your problems be somehow linked with what I'm experiencing. In the celsior there is no chime just light for brake fluid (Handbrake message doubles as low brake fluid)

Also Chris, maybe blocked Pickup?
You mentioned you found out there was no problem with the pressure, how do you know this? Did the mechanics hook up a gauge and checked the oil pressure once the light came on?
