Hey,

Could someone please show me where the engine coolant temp sensor on a 1UZ is located? (possibly with a photo if you just happen to have one) I need to know before going to KYP in Perth to pick one up off the engine they have...

Thanks,
Leigh

Thank you.

Can anyone tell me where I can purchase a coolant temp sensor for the 1UZ, other than toyota? And if so, any chance you have a part number?

Thanks,
Leigh.

I was given that part number from supercheap auto today, can anyone confirm if that is the correct sensor? Price for that is $41.00.

Thanks,
Leigh.

Hope this helps ,It shows 3 part numbers , not sure why, on the pre 1994's you had two sensors so maybe its for the other one .I would give James a call at Castle Hill Toyota just to find out for sure .

Part number is 83420-16020
83420-16050
83420-20040

Sorry, just to clarify the part number I was given was for a Tridon sensor. Would this one work in place of the Toyota one?

Thanks,
Leigh
