Hey guys, my front air struts gave way a few months back, I replaced them with second hand ones which were in good nick.

I believe my drivers front height sensor is playing up because twice since replacing the struts the front right just dumps all the air and won't pump back up.
I had to drive the whole way home from work with it sitting stupidly low.

I got out tried everything and then just let it sit and started it 3 hours+ later and it pumped up fine?

Another thing is, about 5 times now in the last month, I have got in my car and turned the key and I hear a click and nothing is on, I go to the engine back and press the negative terminal and everything is good, maybe just need to tighten it? I reset my ecu 2 days before this, will I need to do it again? because it is feeling a little more slow off the line.

Cheers!

Hmmmm, sounds like the height control unit must have an issue, loose connection... water damage? age?.. Best to replace it with another one and see if that makes a difference.

It doesn't sound like theres anything wrong with the airbag itself.

Get some CRC electrical contact cleaner, and clean the terminals, a bit of sand paper or something abrasive can help.
