Looking for a product to stop engine bay radiant heat from conducting onto my stainless steel coolant pipe. No opportunity to use heat shield. Would a sleeve insulation over the coolant pipes (which heat up a bit by over time eg standstill at lights) increase the problem as the pipe will retain heat without surface air / airflow?
