It also sounds like a real V8. Not a strange V8 that sounds more like a 4 cylinder. To be honest I've never liked the 360s sound. The older 355 had a good sound though, really nice.

Not a v8. But this the best sounding exhaust on any car, except maybe a Carrera GT with straight pipes.

Enjoy

At 5:23, this car sounds epic too! Also, how flat does it corner. Incredible!

Why a ferrari for cruises? why not a comfortable RR Phantom or a Bentley?

Most Ferrari are very nice on the inside, they come with nice leather ect and most models are not intended for track use. They are refered to as heavy sports lux coupes.

For a nice cruise through the hills or a trip down the autobarn the Ferrari does that well and given your concern about looks they also do so in style.

If you want to have a driver and go the sleep in the back then perhaps Bentley........

Good call - though I'm not a fan of the way Porsche's look, so I'd probably go for a 370 as a Cayman substitute daily driver, or a GT-R as a 911 substitute daily driver if I was even richer.

A mate of mine has a 2008 Cayman S which is a lovely car, but he's a 50-something year old dude and he just looks kinda odd driving it - I keep expecting a blond chick to jump out of it.

I don't mind the look but they are certainly not looks to die for.

There are many cars which would suffice for a very good daily driver I just picked Porsche as they are good performance, can go just about anywhere speedhumps car driveways (unlike many very low sports cars ie Ferrari's) and they built on a extremely refined platform.

I've been in a GT3 996 MKII. Very fast, very reliable, and sticks to the road like glue.

The problem with 911's is you have to be a very, very good driver to get the most out of them. If you have more ego than talent, they will kill you. In many ways the Cayman is a superior car for the average schlob driver like myself - much more forgiving.

That interior looks so tacky. For those dollars I'd be expecting something a bit more fancy. I think Porsches are still some of the ugliest cars on the road... not for me!
