I assumed those Magnaflows were like that, up until they arrived, I was quiet annoyed to find they had X pipes inside, a straight through dual would be much more to my liking. Though I am not sure if any of what Magnaflow do offer that option... worth investigating.

Looking at the prices i'm being quoted so far $350-$400 for a frickn muffler!!! i'm probably going to get a couple of lukey race offset-offset 2.5" (about $100 each) cut them open and turn them into one muffler!

Where are you buying them? Try http://www.rocketindustries.com.au/ for the Magnaflows they have fairly good rates... being in Australia will cut out the extra shipping expense too.
