Hi guys, I was working away for 6 months and left my soarer in a garage, I recently returned, replaced the fuel and oil filter, filled the tank with petrol and changed the oil. I also put in a new battery. I went to start the car and nothing happened. "CHARGE" came up on the dash, but the starter motor wasn't even ticking over. would it just be the plugs and leads?

Any help would be great.

Cheers

Unlikely if the engine is not cranking over, was the battery fully charged? any noise at all when you turn the key?

Nothing at all. New battery and we have tried another battery as well as jump starting it from another car.

Do you have any form of immobiliser?

Or it might be the starter relay or ignition switch.

Do some poking around with a test light.
