Going to do a bit of a flush what's the fluid you're suppose to use for the v8? I'm pretty sure the dipstick had either type 2 or type 3.

Does it have to be the Toyota brand or doesn't matter as long as it's type 4?

Definitly Use Type IV...!! Personly I use Type 2 in the steering,Type 3 in the cooling fan and Type IV in the Box..
