Thats interesting Andrew , I have been running mine for years now and about 3 weeks ago our 95 LS400 had a high idle and thought it maybe the ICV so again pitted a spare off a pre 94 and it ran fine , still have a a bit of a high idle but not a problem other than that .

I'm on the lookout for one Mario, however it looks like I also have a fuel pump on the way out so that is probably having an effect as well, so I have a walbro to install next weekend and I lashed out and ordered a new fuel pump ecu from ama yaya as well

Idles like a pig when cold but when hot it's ok most of the time just sometimes a bit lumpy, I have replaced the fuel pump with a walbro and there is a small improvement, I'm just waiting on a new fuel ecu from Daniel and see how that goes, my suspicion is that it's not so much the iacv now but the tune, I'll need to get on the boat and go see Cihan

Nik,
Have you still got your AFM ? would it be a big deal for you to plug that back in just for diagnostics purpose ? So if the idle is fine, you can probably tune that out. Would indicate other parts of the system are also ok, and save you time and money changing parts that are ok. How was the idle before removing the afm ?
Like I have mentioned before, testing on both pre 94 engines, and post 94 gave different results with afm disconnected. 92 engine behaves totally normal, idle etc, post 94 becomes lumpy. Now I'm wondering if something in the electronics has change between the years to cause this.
I would be really interested to see how yours idled with the afm back on, only for diagnostic purpose, of course no intention of leaving it there.
