By Klingon (startrek?) you mean Japanese? I'd say your first port of call checking what error its showing. Follow this link:

Hi Guys
the kliongon message was engine electrical fault
I could not retreive any error codes but after leaving the car overnight it started and ran fine this morning for about 20 minutes untill it got hot (not overheating at all) and then started to surge again it is that bad it is undrivable and stalls when put into drive... I have bridged the fuel pump and made no diffrence
thanks in advance Robyn

Check for loose vacuum hoses first. I'd then look at the ICAV, fuel pump ECU then engine ECU.

Doesn't sound like a coil to me.
