Hi guys,

I washed my car on the weekend, and ever since, the car has been shaking severely and it appears the electrics are intermittently getting a short/cutting out? As when the car shakes (does it while idling mostly, however accelerates a little dodgey also) the TEMS SPORT light on the dash flickers/dims at the same time.
The aircon also stopped working this morning!! (I HOPE this is just the buttons on & around the EMV that are stopping it from working)

After a 10 minute drive, the car seems to sort itself out (apart from the aircon now) and go back to normal.

ANY HELP?! :-/

Did you wash your engine bay? If so, this is probably the cause of your issues

My dad washed the engine bay of his V8 soarer. It ran like crap for two weeks (driven daily) before it all dried up. Has been fine ever since.

You need to blow out the plug holes it cant escape ,as it just keeps turning to steam and condensing

Remove the cover that says V8 Four Cam 32 (Passenger Side, most likely to get filled with water).

Pull the leads off the plugs and use compressed air to blow the water out. If you don't have an air compressor, you can get "Air Duster" cans from Bunnings.

Better to use parts cleaner, CRC and rags to clean the engine than a hose.

All sorted and back running well! :-)

Was a wee bit of a mission getting access to the driver's side plugs, but definitely worth the effort.

Thanks again guys! :-)
