Hi all,
My beautiful '92 SC400 has been going like a dream until recently. Before I go taking it to a mechanic who'll probably try to tell me the problem is bigger than it is, I was hoping to get some advice from you folk in here
The car has quite a violent shudder from 103kph to around 120. Initially the shudder was coming through the stearing wheel and the rear so a new set of tyres and an alignment has reduced some of it. I believe it could be an issue with the tailshaft or something to do with the universal joint but I don't have a hoist and only limited car knowledge.
Has anyone come across this before or can share any information as to what it may be?
To top it off, my climate control button (fan control/direction etc) on the EMV screen has decided to stop working and I was quoted approx $700+ to repair it! I'm yet to do some research into parts etc but any info on that would be great too!

mate just buy an emv. I dont have any but Daniel Savage may have one handy.
Not sure about shudder, one of my cars had this exact problem. Weird thing is if I was going 110km/h it would happen intermittinetly. I havent worked it out yet. Thought it was just a balance needed
