Hey guys,
Well I managed to start a shim job right in the middle of some Japanese public holiday so Toyota Aus can't get new shims in for 3 weeks and through Amayama the better part of 2 weeks. I am after as close as possible to the below:
2.80mm 2.80mm 2.79mm 2.78mm 2.77mm 2.73mm 2.72mm
I am happy to pay you for them + postage. Just seeing if there is any way of getting them in a shorter time frame than through Toyota. Reply here or send me a PM if you have these sizes.
Thanks, David

David , a mate of mine told me there is a place in Vic that does shims for almost any engine and there about 1/2 the cost of Toyota . I can find out where they are and a phone number if you like , PM me so i remember if you still need shims .

Hey Mario, thanks for the suggestion. I forgot to check back on the forums.
I ended up ordering the shims + a few other items through Amayama. Toyota AUS wanted $220 for the order and Amayama got the lot to me a week faster than Toyota could for $104 inc shipping so more than a 50% saving compared to Toyota Aus. Would definitely recommend Amayama, Justin their Aus rep is very helpful and turn around is quite fast.
For anyone doing their shims they cost me around $6 a pop through Amayama at whatever the exchange rate was at that time. Toyota Aus wanted $15.50 ea and had to order them from Japan.
