I've got a coolant leak in my 1uz. It's a slow one every month or two the dash will flash with a warning light and the radiator will take a litre or more. No visible leaks. Had the rad pressure tested about 6 mths ago and no leaks. Any ideas?}

Yep its the block seal. Thanks James. I've seen that thread before but thought mechanics would have seen it. It's kind of hidden but when I could get a good view of it, it was obviously the issue. It has been clumps of built up dried red coolant all over it. Anyone fix this issue? The thread recommends just using sealant on it.

Anybody fixed this issue? What's involved? Expensive job? Anyone used silverseal or similar to fix small leaks?

I'd guess it would involve taking the car to a mechanic, (one that knows Imports) telling them the block seal needs fixing. They'll take out the bolts, and use sealer to fix it up.

Scott - Are you actually loosing fluid? If you think not then perhaps it is actually the sensor - they are all starting to pop over the last few years and 94+ never had that sensor. Common advise is to DC the sensor.
