Where is the best place to test fuel pressure on the 1UZ engine?

Is it easiest at the fuel filter, but would like to avoid that if possible due to the fuel pouring everywhere when you undo the filter.

What pressure should I have?

Thanks

I'd have thought that after a fuel rail but before an FPR would be the best place to test... but really anywhere along the line where you can get access will do. I'm not sure that there is a "best" place.

I can't find a place near the fuel rail, the LPG injectors make things more difficult too. I wanted to avoid that fuel loss/mess at the filter, that is why I ask for the best place. The type of fitting that I need will depend on where I have connect to.

I hate fuel... I hate the smell of it and the feel of it and everything about it. I go to longer lengths than most people might to get past fuel but in this case filter does sound like the least hassle. Tbh i havent had a close look at soarer fuel delivery so maybe just keep bumping until someone sees the thread :-) good luck!

Thanks Matthew, for trying to help but I do need someone to see this who has actually tested the fuel pressure on a Soarer V8 and knows the best place. I do appreciate your eagerness to help though. cheers John
