Now, nothing has been moved - the wiring in the ashtray hole is where it has always been, and so on. I have an ashtray hole as I had an aftermarket stereo installed and ashtray won't fit back...
My questions are - What does D2 mean, and what else can cause a no connection error? Is it simply a cable unplugged behind the EMV or something that has come loose?
Or is this possibly an ECU or fuse issue - as no cables have been moved/touched/ or so on.
Previously taken car to 3 mechanics for checks on unrelated (i think) issues - wasted $600 to find nothing out basically - looking for as much diverse info as possible before taking it into a shop again, no matter how ridiculous it may sound - give me your theories.

One other question. Looking up online - the forums state that if you have a scroll feature on the dash, the codes will be displayed.
When i start the car, i can push scroll - and it goes through "brakes, oil pressure, oil level" and so on ... There are no error codes near any of the things in the scrolling menu however. Now - Am i right in believing that an error code will only show up near the item in question if there is an actual error - and the items that are appearing in scroll are not in fact showing up due to an error, but are simply there to show if there IS an error? - so if brakes have an error, it will say "brakes-D1" instead of just "brakes"... Right?

Noticed it after back seat was out.
- took back seat out to replace fuel ECU. - Did not have spanner that fit the bolts holding back part of seat on. Did not replace ECU. - Put back seat in (bench). - Next day there is no air con screen.
- From what i gather, the things under seat are the 'audio system' plugs and everything.
- Was just curious if something is shorting out or similar when i put the seat back on - as nothing else has changed, and now the screen won't work...

Its got nothing to do with taking your rear seats out, i searched and read on a few old threads on here that its the Emv's ecu that's starting to play up. Common problem.... No air con screen, audio display or temp display on main screen. Its also like that on mine although its been like that since I bought it.
