How do you get a screw out - a screw holding the tps - if a screwdriver has ruined the tip?
inserted a screwdriver today - turned it gently - and the thing threaded itself.
Now it's a giant circle instead of a star after one single turn.
sigh.
Pointers please.
Just found this...

Any better ideas?

I got an Easy-out that is a double ended drill bit.
One end is used to drill a small hole in the screw, the other end is then used to remove the screw. Use very slow speed.
Works well.

Hi guys, thanks for the reply Peter.
I got it out with this method.
1. Get a flat rubber band.
2. Place it over screwdriver tip.
3. Unscrew TPS as normal.
The rubber band filled in the gaps caused by the wonky screw, it turned fine with a smaller diameter screwdriver.
Phew!
