I deleted my account in 2008, thought it would have gone already
Anyone know if you can still buy the Haltech interceptor ecu ? Same as the over priced exede ecu that Chiptorque flog.
Really need something to tune the V8.
Option 1 Apexi safc, but ltd load points, no timing control.
Unichip, unreliable from what I've read ??
Exede ecu.
EMU, except no one knows anything about them, won't tune them, wiring them to a V8 and setting the configurations seems like one big secret, can't find anything concrete. A guy in San Francisco was trying to sort a EMU on his SC 400 about a year ago and just gave up, tuning shop couldn't figure it out, he was posting on a tuning forum with no answers.
I attended a dyno tuning day and had a emanage blue tuned on my V8. Honestly car ran like crap, end up loading the maps onto another emanage blue (New) same deal, so just removed it.
Standalone is out, far too expensive, headaches, would be many issues, trans for one. Piggy back is only option, funny that after all these years there isn't really a better option than Peter Scott's Unichip install all those years ago.

Yeah this is true.
Only problem is the wolf isn't plug and play with a Celsior loom, it's for a conversion completed a few years back. Might look at doing the V8 soarer at some stage.
The other problem with the Wolf is the tuning cost, a lot more than a piggy back, have to setup ecu aswell as engine.
I wish I could flash it : (
