Hi... Has anyone any idea on how to take a 32 steering rake out.I have been told my inner rod end are badly worn and my steering rake is leaking and needs repair. I can't find any info on removal of the rack. There seems to be a dose of hydrolic hoses in the road.....

I have lowered mine , and yes there are lots of hoses i have th emanual will take a look for you. It may be possible to remove by just moving one hose , the one with the long loop in it.

Have just looked in the manual and R&R is straight forward, you do have to remove the power steering buffer with hose it says. apart from that it is the same as a normal rack except you have to detach the rear cable linkage 6 bolts,4 nuts, 2 hoses, 5 bolts from control pully. etc.

I can't copy and paste the manual because it copyright, but it is the same procedure as removing any rack, except as I have described above, pretty straight forward.
If you own a 32 and want to understand how the suspension and steering work and how it is maintained then I would suggest that Phillip Ryrie's 32 manual is a very worthwhile investment even though it only details the systems applicable to the 32

Yes James you are 100 percent correct , there is nothing else out there that covers the 32 on repair like Phillips manual and its a must have for 32 owners.

Yes Mick it sure does, there are other little things to like the particle filters in the hydralic pump, ECU engine boost for the extra weight the 32 has, along with the complex active 4ws/suspension/brakes/axis/yaw sensors harnessed together produce something that was only introduced in top of the line vehicles 5 years ago. I TRUE sky active vehicle ahead of its time.
