Hi all my v8 is surging at idle i have new caps in the ecu and have replaced MAF sensor and TPS i was playing around the other day and pulled the connector off the TPS and the car idled at 2000rpm reconnect and goes back to surging so im wondering if it is the TPS any help is greatly appreciated :-)

have you yet tried removing the idle air control valve and giving it a clean and lubrication? I think I remember having that suggested back when I had the issue, but my issue turned out to be the main ECU needing repair.

If the TPS has been adjusted too, it can cause all kinds of issues, have the TPS screws been loosened at any point?

the TPS screws have been loosened a few times now when i was trying to get it running right before i found out the ecu was naffed.....lol will look into the IACV and see how that goes...and the ecu works great so thanks again Mike :-)
