These things are known for your problem.
Dieing coils use multimeter to check
Fuel pump condition may be getting hot fuel

Check ecu for capacitors to see if failing will need multimeter when they swelled/leak/explode you'll see easily. Without seeing what wiring has actually been done which sounds like nothing apart from bridging that side of things i can help with.
I rewired mine to use stock auto ecu with no codes and had a switch when throttle was pushed over half o/d switched.

Daniel, can you post how you rewired to use stock auto ecu.
About to start T56 conversion and trying to sort out all the loose ends.

What do you mean you put a switch for open throttle?

Have you wired in your Speedo yet?? After my R154 conversion I had symptoms like that. As soon as I wired in the speed sensor it stopped stalling.
