Hey everyone, so my soarer keeps hunting at id keeps jumping to 2k and dropping to about 1100rpm. Only when its been running for about 10 minutes. I've replaced the IAC with a working unit as the old one was eusted and wouldn't move, what else could it be?

I'd be looking at the ecu before I fiddled with anything else. A failing ecu will cause this, it also may have been the cause of your IACV not working & eventually seizing .

mmm it always seems to be ECU related, in most cases the idle control valves I've seen are never that bad.

Usually the bearings spin easier in old examples, not typical to seize

I'd have to agree with you Mike. A correctly functioning ecu keeps the IACV too busy to seize. The problem occurs when the ecu is faulty & not operating the IACV properly, then they bind up.
