I have seen 7 ECUs lately, all with the same fault. Roughish idle and slight miss at low revs. OK if you get up it which is why I didn't notice the fault in one I was testing in my car for a out 3 weeks It is a faulty (leaking) capacitor.

I probably should also mention that I have a half dodgy sensor, I'm not sure what it is but the mechanic said it's something that detects air and water temp.. I don't think this is the problem as the warning light is only coming up as often as it did before (once every few drives). I just rang my mechanic and he just got the part in so I'll be replacing it but he also doesn't think that would be the problem.
He said the car is in "limp mode"

Well, I just did the dodgy thing and drove around to mechanics pretended I knew nothing about what's going on to try and get some more ideas. They all said it's not in limp mode as there would be a warning and there would be a rev limiter at around 3 grand.. It's not getting too much fuel as there's no smoke..
Ahh well I guess I'll just have to take it to someone who works on Soarers (I've gotta take it to Tuff Toys to get something else fixed anyway)

I think my car has a reverse ying yang thing going on .. like a backwards Kama.. Today I got in a road rage incident (was pissed off at the car .. took off from some lights and it went upto 3k as it has for the last week.. then it took off at 3k and I got infront of the dude next to me to get on the freeway and looked in my rear vision mirror and the dude was clapping at me... I threw some signs back .. floored it off) and the car came good...
I've been being good and nice and the car screws up .. I be bad and the car fixes itself.. I think I might go chase down some grannys or something and see if my shock starts holding air hehe

Try threatening your soarer with a sledge hammer/ car crusher. Am amazed what will fix itself when threatened. This threat HAS WORKED for me.
