Was changing my oil filter and noticed two bolts with an alen key head on forwarding facing side of the oil filter housing.

Any idea what these are for?

If an oil cooler is connected, does all of the filtered oil go through the cooler or only part while the rest is pumped through the engine?

Damien, what thread is on the senders you got? Was hoping to put a temp guage on to monitor oil temp with a blower.

I think they were normal NPT tapered threads. Niall fitted them for me (bastard job I didn't want to deal with :-)) and he took those bolts out of the housing and tapped them for the senders to screw into.

Oil Temp,
Oil Pressure,
Fuel Pressure,
Boost Gauge.
About $1,300 all up with master controller :-)

I have been trying the same thing. Only problem i have is finding the proper fitting for it. I am trying to use those two holes for remote oil relocation. However, bolts are hard to find and fit because it is recessed.
