Going to service my in the week or so. So i started looking for some spark plugs, after searching the forums i decided to go with NGK IRIDIUM IX, BKR6EIX-11's. The @ price i could find was $15 a plug As most of the things i have bought to service my car, i turned to the US! Got them for $82 for 8. Why are local product so dam over priced! Even after shipping most things are cheaper. Got them from this guy, fast shipping, and no issues. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NGK-IRIDIUM-IX-ANY-SET-OF-8-Spark-Plugs_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33 693QQihZ002QQitemZ2443462053QQtcZphoto

I think the "standard" plug for the V8 is NGK BKR5EP-11's. They are platinums (thus the "P". Thats from memory, Its been a while though, so I'm probably wrong. Your choice as to if you want Platinums or Iridiums.

Have a look at a few spark plug manufacturer's sites. I remember reading that the high performance series of iridiums (EIX for NGK) are 0.4mm electrode and need to be changed every 60 000km but the 0.7mm electrode plugs last 100 000km.

what a pain in the arse it was to change them !
Yes, quite difficult! I pulled on the rubber boots really hard, but was rewarded with a rubber boot in my hand but the tube still stuck firmly on the spark plug. Then had to use some circlip pliers to grab the tube under the lip that's supposed to hold the boot on. I checked the resistance and all seemed ok, though. v8 plug leads should be from 4k to 15k ohms resistance, apparently, according to length.
