Sounds a bit weird Tim , is it coming from under the hood, or from inside the car, like from the firewall area?

I think it is coming from under the engine not the hood and sure I can feel it is close by to the gas pedal...

So annoying, otherwise the car is so nice and smooth driving.

WD-40 FTW!

Do they have WD40 in Canada?

I think it may be just a dry throttle linkage Tim.

I'd do what Maurice suggests, and spray some WD40 or CRC 5/56 up onto the linkage where it pivots (if you know what I mean) and where the throttle cable goes through the firewall.

Ya if it is just a mouse...

Maurice, I think we have WD40...I saw on the shelf once.

Don, thanks for advise but I am not sure about the linkages pivot points and where to look for it...

On the firewall where your pedals are mounted.

If ya lube the pivot points I've circled in Red, that may help..............or not, as the case may be
