after i turn the car off its making a ticking sound. anyone know what this could be? is it just the bags resting or something like that?

Exhaust cooling usually. The charcoal cannister under the bonnet can also make a bit of a hissing noise for a while.

It is an alarm system. If you do not leave the vicinity of the car, as an owner would, then the right front steering arm will explode to immobilise the car. It happened to Daniel.
