Robert is Just about right on the mark with his pricing mate.
just to have all the parts(only) to assemble a decompressed engine is around $5000
then all the machining,cams,turbos,manifolds etc on top.

But yeah, a mate has done something very similar! Although if you paid a shop for that.. it could go around $50k!! (drive in drive out)

Interesting pipework. Looks like it goes to an intercooler, but likely to be a fairly small one looking at the path.

Yeah, I tend to agree Avin, but then I a) Don't find ute's at all appealing and can't understand why people spend money on doing them up b) am a bit of a purest when it comes to mixing marques c) have little interest in drag racing, which I guess is the only thing this would be good for.

On the other hand the guy who owns this no doubt loves it and has great fun with it.
