Factory Torsen LSD is (was) available for the V8 as an option. I have one and so do a very few other people.

You can see that it is an option in the site to which Ali referred.

That Russian site has the same information in the same format as www.amayama.com

Hell yeah!
Especially if you have headers and a decent exhaust, it not only looks impressive it sounds awesome too.

When you get them, spend the $$$ and get them ceramic coated.

As David has said, LSD was indeed an option for V8's, and is designated by: A101B on your factory Toyota data plate.

This guy has a few bits of advice, Andre:
1. Look under the topic "Mechanical V8" for a couple of threads with "exhaust" in the title
2. Search for exhaust
3. Try not to start a whole new thread within an existing one. This is different from drifting off topic where there is some associative path.

My advice in direct answer to your question is in existing threads so I am not going to repeat it here.

Hope this helps more than it might at first seem like it does.

Yes Maurice that was what we put it down too. But iv been putting 96 ron and 98 and have taken it back several times to have them work on it(retune for moble 6000 wich is the only fuel I use now).
In the end they burned out my new spark plugs, that have now been replaced and still very little gain in power and fuel econ also still a weird jump in power at 3500 to 4000 rpm. Iv given up for now till i find another tuner and time off.

This wasn't APS in Croydon was it? Sorry to hear about all your problems! I got my car tuned (Emanage) and I noticed a huge difference in power all across the rev range, although still uses heaps of fuel when cruising. I'm a bit PO'd because part throttle was tuned, it's just not lean enough, still uses too much fuel.

You generally can't tune a piggyback for AFR on part throttle unless you disable the oxygen sensors (generally not a good idea and may confuse the ECU).

You should be able to squeeze a few degrees of timing in. Provided you don't push it too far, you won't destroy plugs. If you go a heat range colder on the plugs, you can get 10 degrees of timing at WOT without destroying plugs or pinging.

Will dramatically improve throttle response and improve cruise economy slightly (about 8%).

It was technik tuning thornbury recommended by the APS web site.
Iv just changed back to the V8 ratio diff and i can hardly get wheel spin even with the foot on the break. Im not really into doing burnout or doughnuts (any more) but mine would have no chance.

Out of a tank of fuel be for unichip 560 to 580km depending on how i drive now 590 to 610km.

I just love V8s to much and would never trade for turbo. (Unless it was V8 turbo then maybe)

What size wheels/tyres are you guys running? I can get wheelspin from mine pretty easy from a standing start, although thats on 235/17 tyres so not exactly wide for a Soarer.

All i have is BFI and extractors, still stock exhaust.

Put in N, rev it anywhere above 3000rpm, slam it into D and you should be burning up the road :-)
Can't say the gearbox will like it though hehe.

I wish I could maintain traction in mine sometimes... *reality check* 2nd thoughts no I don't

Speaking of Corona's I put 5 diff's in the ST141 Avante (w00t central locking, 5 speed, 2 litre carby ) I had on my P plates in vic. The piston slop was ridiculous when I changed the head gasket, bores we're oval!!

My little bro stacked it into a tree and still got a $1000 for it, i pity the poor sod that bought it. It was screwed when I gave it to him!
