Sorry to be a nuisance but could someone please explain why every time I open a forum discussion a pop up appears asking me to select a user to be entered on this forum with a choice of grant or grant. Likewise when I went to start a new thread to type this note I was aked to choose a username which was a list of previous thread headings I have used? These are pissing me off .... How do I get rid of these pop ups pllleeeeaaaaassssseeee

Grant, you say 'every time you open a forum discussion". Do you mean whenever you start a thread, or when you use Search, or when you click on a topic?
Do you have cookies set to allow your computer to store your identity for the forum? What platform and browser are you using?

I assume you are using Firefox?
I have had it happen before. In the menubar, go to Tools>>Options>>Privacy>>Saved Passwords>>View Saved Passwords. Look for soarercentral.com and check that there is only one entry. If there is more, just delete them all and then try logging on again, and it should save the password correctly again.
Chances are, you have entered the username with a space before or after it, or the password differently.

I'm using Netscape 7.1 on windows XP Prof and the popup appears when I open a discussion thread, for example I have opened the forum for test posts etc.. no popup now I click on this thread to open it and after it opens up comes the box asking for username????? Dan I think that windows does remember my password this could be problem.
