Hi

I just wanted to know if this will bolt straight on to a 94 V8, I already have the front brakes done but not the back.

I wouldn't upgrade the rear brakes to TT unless you are upgrading the front brakes to TT at the same time though.

It'll fvck the bias up completely.

It will not "fvck up the bias" either, actually. The braking system is not that primitive.

The bias will be wrong only in the sense that the braking system could generally be made better by improving the front brakes rather than the rears. The car will still stop perfectly well in either case, just faster in one of them.

You need bigger discs for the TT calipers.

And David is correct. I've actually had TT brakes on the rear since I bought the car without knowing it.

I now have a set of TT rear calipers and rotors sitting in my garage if anyone's interested.
$125 if you pick up (it's Sydney North Shore).

Sorry, didn't want to hijack.

The caliper part (ie, the bit that has the pistons in it) is identical between TT and V8, but the caliper mounting (the part that bolts the caliper onto the hub) is slightly longer to allow for the larger rotor

Funnily enough thats the same setup between the GZ20 (276mm) and MZ20 (300mm)

So will there be any gain in braking performance by installing the TT calipers and dicks on the rear?

If the piston size is the same and the calipers are identical then why would a larger disk make a difference? (better heat distribution?)

I guess male calipers are stronger than their female counterparts... and I guess the jewish ones will have a lil less meat on em??

On your first question, I see no gain from installing any of those TT dicks.

On your second, a larger disk, e.g. from a TT, will give better heat dissipation as you surmise, and also a greater leverage arm for the calipers.
