Would anyone happen to know the part no. for UZZ31 handbrake shoes???

I have searched the forums under "shoes" and nothing has come up, well nothing that can help me anyway...

Also, when i went down to Burson to pick up my front brakes, i asked for handbrake shoes and he said that i would be looking around quite a bit and apparently shoes are really hard to find!!!

Is that true, or is he just pulling my leg???

P.S. I have already tried to adjust it at the rear wheels followed by tightening the nut at the handbrake, but the cable still seems to go past 5 clicks each time...I'm thinking my handbrake shoes are worn out??? Any ideas anyone?

They are pretty thin anyway, so I doubt new shoes will get you many clicks back.

Here you go Ali.
But as Peter says the chances of them being worn much is unlikely, as they only hold the car in a stationary position and arn't rubbing all the time. Plus if you attempt to drive off with the handbrake even 1 click up, you'll get a "Bong" from the dash with a Klingon message.

I suspect it's more likely to be the handbrake cable stretching over the years from people yanking it on too hard.

These are the part numbers for the handbrake cable replacements.
1 x Front cable, and 2 x Rear cables.
