Just put a new master clyinder on the car,as the old one was leaking a bit and the brakes were a bit spongie. Have bleed all 4 corners starting with the furthest away, but they are still a bit spongie (worst than before). Give them a couple of pumps and they come up fine. Gone through 3 litres of fluid and no air is comming out. Read on here somewhere that the master clyinder has 3 bleed screws. Have done a search, but can't find it. Also in the same thread it mentioned something about a pin that can sieze in the brake caliper (slide). Is there a trick to bleeding them??. Just standard ABS, non traction control.. thanks....

Note, that the Planet Soarer tutorial refers to cars with TRC.
Possibly if the level got too low while doing the bleed, you may have sucked some air into the master cylinder. Worst case, it may have found it's way to the ABS unit - in which case I have read various stories on the degree of difficulty in getting the air out.
Some say that just normal bleeding will eventually get it out, others say the pump needs to be activated using a special tool to get the air out.

just a foot note. went out the next morning and the brakes were heaps better. i like cars that fix themselves.. dose anyone know if the master clylinder's are the same bore size?.
