hi i was wondering why my car brakes lock up i was driving the other day on the highway and i took my foot off the accelerator and the car would brake to a full stop i stopped got out and the brakes were smoking it happens on and off wat is the cause of it???
nah man my handbrake was down! its like i was driving normally and then all of a sudden its like i've slammed my foot on the brakes. then it goes away and comes back again later on wat is the problem any clue???

On topic... i have a similar problem, when i accelerate hard from stationary then back off when i hit about 80km i get an error msg for a second saying "brake fluid level". Is this also the brake booster telling me it's retiring? Cheers... & sorry for the hijack Phillip.
