hey all,
Starting to penetrate the mechanical area for the car as to try and save some $$$, just wondering if someone can give me some assistance in removing the brake callipers and rotors, as in what tools are needed, how it is done and what not.

Anthony i wouldnt suggest playing with the brakes if you need to ask the questions above best off not saving those dollars as it may result in spending tripple what it would have cost in the first place. Just my advice. brakes is all you pritty much have in stopping safely.

If you are confident in your abilities to pull something to bits and put it back together the same way it came apart, brakes are nothing to be afraid of - and no special tools are required, just a good set of the basics.
But if you don't have a lot of mechanical experience and you aren't sure of your basic skills, brakes are not the place to start.

thinking of going just a plain silver i think, not too sure what other colour would look good on a green soarer, the guy who owned it before me had red calipers on the rears and fugly rusty brown on the fronts (not actual rust...just...NASTY brown)
