Hey guys,

Any idea if the guide pins on the front calipers of a UZZ are a generic size or have a part number from toyota? Got a stuck guide pin and need to replace it asap cause my brakes are like having a pillow as brake pads at the moment and I can't get the new pads in until I fix the pin. Also i've never put a new pin in before but by looking at the old one its simply a case of grease the hole put the pin in put the boot over it and done?

BUMP. Need to find out asap so I can get a new one so I can drive my car :-) The brakes are literally down to nothing so just stealing one of my dads cars until I get it fixed haha. The joys of being a uni student.

Why not just ask your local Toyota dealer about the number?

Are you sure you can't just clean the old pin and reuse it? Mine cleaned up a treat when they ceased As for fitting, you got it in one - just make sure you use copper grease or some other high temperature grease.
