i was driving round the other day and my brake light came on - (!) - my handbrake wasnt up and my foot wasnt on the brake....

also every time i start the car and put my foot on the brake it says ABS on the screen....

anyone shed any light ??
happened to someone before ?

yep the handbrake light kept goin on all the time for me also. Brake pads were low and so had them changed the other day. Bleed the breaks and a top up and has never come on again.

does it really mean im low on brake fluid ??

the plug could be loose. disconnect it, clean it out and reconnect it

Also could be the float has filled up with fluid as is no longer "floating" - fairly common.
