Ive searched around, im trying to base my decision on quality, price and stopping power.

Its a weekend car, which gets the odd weekend running, and track work from time to time.

I was thinking Feroda DS2500s but not sure on price?

Can people post up prices of pads and what you think of them in 1 area, that way people can base there judgement on what will best suit there needs :-)

Thanks

I have been using Intima SR6300. $130 per pair both ends. 0-700 deg rated. Good pad when combined with stock TT brakes for track work. Yet to try them with the new Supra 4 pots.

Brake pads have been covered a LOT, which is possibly why this thread hasn't gone anywhere.

yes they have been discussed, but there pickets all over the forum, its hard to base a decision when you gotto search 50 threads, and even then you dont get much info on prices etc.

Thanks Ben i might ring up the parts supplier next week and get a few sets, as im still running on the pads that were in it when i bought it, which i assume are crappy bursons pads as the stopping is quite frankly crap HAHA

Lucas TRW pads hands down for performance and for been cheap as chips, the equivalent of Khumo KU36s are for performance tyres. Trust me go Lucas TRW pads, should be around $180 for all 4.

Can remember what this other company is called, its something like QRP or something (someone will know) who have really good performance brake, pretty much the same level of performance as Lucas but a bit less brake dust. Not to say the Lucas are that dusty.

Lucas pads are much cheaper than that and they are 10 times better than the KU36's as a comparison.

For a street car if you can live with a little dust I have not found a better brake pad regaurdless of cost.

QFM I think you mean David, and the equivilant cant recal the exact part number has a higher temp range but everyone who has had this pad says they are super noisy.

A mate of mine tried them for track street use said they were not great for the track and way to noisy to live with on the street.

Yeah QFM, i knew it had a Q in it so i just made up the rest haha.

Yeah havent heard much about noise, saw some graphs from QFM against Lucas which showed a minor improvement with a wide range of temps been operational. Im happy with Lucas, might gibe QFM a spin later down the track just to see how dust goes but other than that Lucas is the grail.

I am running project mu brake pads @ $180 a pair.
Excellent. Better than the original (unsure) the car came with.
