So i'm going to try and get rear calipers and discs of a car i'm wrecking and thought i'd get some advice first. I've had a bit of experience with drum brakes and its ridiculously difficult to get the disc off. So any procedure out there that will save me using a hammer?

I'm taking it off by TT and putting in on my V8. This is fine from what i've read on here.

Disc's come off nice and easy when you use a couple of 8mm bolts to push them off. There are two 8mm threaded holes in the disc between the wheel stud holes. Just work two bolts in evenly and hey presto the disc comes off.

.... assuming you have removed the caliper first....
