Hi guys. This will be my first post un your forum. I've got new pads in the front and good ones in the back, and i just changed the brake fluid and bleed it properly, but still the rear brakes dosen't work any good. It's winter here in Norway so just having front brakes is not a good idea. 91/92 TT Soarer all stock for now. Just sold my JDM Supra SZR MKIV NA-T 2months ago so i needed something new and interesting

Stuck caliper pins? Thats the usual reason for poor rear brake bias.
And Peter & George, don't guess you guys do much snow & ice driving, but its very easy to tell if your rear brakes aren't doing their share in the snow by the way the car tries to whip you around into the nearest tree backwards!

Yup, on ice and snow you can really feel if the rear brakes ain't doing it's job, and at this time i just had my door open and looked at the back wheel while i slammed on the brake at like 10kph front's locked up fine but rear's not and this was on ice? When you say stuck caliper pins do you mean the piston or something else? I had the left caliper off the brakes and that piston came out when applying pedal and i could push it back. BTW...It's -15C below here to day brrrrrrr

I think it would. I took off both calipers today and they wasen't stuck but they needed service so i cleaned both pistons and the housing, and they moved a lot easier now, out testing and they work better but fronts lock up really easy, so should i order a set of stock pads or what?

I was refering to the sliding guide pins - the bits the bolts that hold the caliper on bolt into - they have little rubber boots on them - often the boots pop off and muck gets down inside the shaft and they bind up. You can clean them out with brake cleaner and cotton swabs, then re-lub with copper or other high temp grease. Its a crap design really.
