Hi Everyone,
I am looking for brake rotors for my 92 TT and am located in Canada.
Although I have invested some time over the last few days to find out if there are aftermarket compatible rotors for the TT Soarer.
It appears to be rumored that the LS400 fronts and the GS300 rears are direct replacements. Also that the NA MKIV Supra has the exact same break setup however I cannot find any concrete information.
Has anyone perhaps done this first hand, or know of any direct replacement options from North America?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Crispin

We can buy various after market rotors, some brands are DBA, RDA, Protex. Not sure what is available overseas however.

Thanks Peter, I have found a myriad of information regarding aftermarket parts from DBA etc. Unfortunately if I ask for the aftermarket parts here in Canada for a Lexus SC300 (equivalent body) they will be the rotors for a UZZ30.

the safest bet would be to go for NA supra front rotors. GS rear rotors will be different. im not sure about ls400 ones, but i thought they were 314mm compared to TT brakes which are 295mm?

I have located some answers (hopefully).
Looks like the brakes on the TT Soarer are exactly the same as the GS 300.

Fronts:
(Fit the TT Soarer, Lexus GS, IS, LS)
Manufacturer Part Number: 43512-50110
Diameter: 296mm
Thickness: 32mm

Rears:
(Fit the TT Soarer, Lexus GS)
Manufacturer Part Number: 42431-40080
Diameter: 307mm
Thickness: 16mm

This information comes from comparing part numbers on various vehicles.

It appears the NA Supra MKIV is completely different.
Supra Diameter Front: 323mm
Supra Thickness Front: 16mm
Supra Diameter Rear: 324mm
Supra Thickness Rear: 16mm

If anyone has any first hand knowledge or conflicting information on this please let me know!

I am going to test this empirically tomorrow and will report back.

Sorry, I was referring to "North American". You are correct the specs for the supra listed are for the TT Supra.

I know it's an old thread, but for the future benefit of other readers: if you're in the US and need TT front brakes, they are identical to the SC400 ones.

Hi Damian

Yes, both front pads and rotors are same for uzz32, jzz30 and sc400. I actually ordered mine from the US as it was more cost effective (and more choice) than the local options.

Not sure about the rear as I haven't had a need to look at them yet.

I just bought a set for a '93 GS300, pads and rotors, front and back. Here's to hoping these are also compatible, I will update within the week!

CONFIRMED, North America GS300 ('92-'95) are a direct fit for front and back rotors and pads for the TT
